ROUTE DESCRIPTION:

The 60km Illovo Marathon route remains “hard work” for the first 20km up until the 1stWaterpointat Nsingizi. The single track will provide some splendid riding through the tracks and trails for the following 20km. The final kilometres will be fast as you navigate sugar cane roads back to the Finish at the Club

The 40km aQuelle Half Marathon route follows the longer race for the first 12km, after which it splits off and dives down into a natural krantz following cattle and forest tracks. Perhaps the waterfall will be flowing this year!? The route remains fast and ride able for all forms of fitness, and proves to be a very popular adventure through the well manicured cane and timber farms of the Eston district.

The STIHL Tala Family Ride remains extremely popular for families and junior riders alike, and entries fill up very fast for this event. It is the only time in the year that Tala kindly open up their reserve for mountain biking and excellent game sightings are virtually guaranteed, all from the seat of your MTB!

The Omnia Kids Ride (2 x 5km loops) promises to be huge fun and the Eston Primary School look forward to hosting all budding MTB’ riders on their course around the club.
