MTB ROUTE

Beach front start with neutral zone to district road. Official start will take place on the district road. The ride will consist of district road combined with sugarcane riding and some new extended sections of awesome single track. Ride is fast and furious, but will provide you with a great 45km MTB Challenge with around 800m of climbing – your legs will feel the burn! You will follow the coastline between Scottburgh and Umkomaas. There are many features along the way, great single track in the Sappi Cannobrae plantation. The entry into the forest has a new route so we won’t have two-way traffic on “Little John Bridge.” The last few kilometres will put you to the test! The final climb is a toughie. Take care going down the new switchback single track which will lead you into the last 2km of Sani2c district road and single track, onto the beach where you will have a short ride on conveyor belting and possibly a few short strides along some beach sand, to a cool wade across the river and some more conveyor belting to the ramp. You will finish on the grass in front of the Wimpy.
Intermediate ride will be 28km following same route as 45km only difference will be that you won’t reach the single track in Cannonbrae forest you will pass through all the other great features, not to mention the great finish.
